Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Experience Analyst on a contingent basis to join careerzynith’s core development team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our technology engineers and the end‑users who experience our solutions in real‑world retail environments. You will evaluate new hardware and software deployments, gather and synthesize customer feedback, and provide actionable insights that shape product roadmaps. This position offers a unique blend of analytical rigor, field‑based testing, and strategic communication, all while traveling to customer sites across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on‑site evaluations of emerging retail technologies, focusing on functionality, reliability, and overall customer experience (CX).
  • Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and design teams to deliver clear, data‑backed technical feedback.
  • Deploy prototype hardware and software at customer locations, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and integration with existing systems.
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from store staff, shoppers, and other stakeholders, translating observations into measurable impact metrics.
  • Prepare concise, well‑structured reports and presentations that summarize findings, highlight opportunities, and recommend next steps for senior leadership.
  • Maintain a detailed log of field activities, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as an ambassador for careerzynith’s brand, embodying our customer‑obsessed philosophy and fostering strong relationships with retail partners.
  • Participate in cross‑functional brainstorming sessions to ideate new features, enhancements, and service models based on real‑world insights.
  • Travel up to 50 % of the time, primarily within the United States, to conduct site visits, training sessions, and technology rollouts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: A four‑year degree in a science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in product development, specifically within consumer hardware development and deployment.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to teach and convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong data analysis capabilities, with experience interpreting risk/reward trade‑offs and making decisions in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated obsession with delivering exceptional customer experiences and a track record of translating feedback into actionable product improvements.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate data collection and analysis tasks.
  • Formal training or coursework in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP, etc.).
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, SAS, Excel Power Query) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with retail operations, point‑of‑sale systems, and emerging checkout technologies.

Compensation, Perks, & Benefits

While this is a contingent position, careerzynith offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $38 to $42 per hour, reflective of experience and expertise. Additional benefits include:
