Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑paced Aftermarket Parts division, customers rely on quick, accurate, and friendly assistance to keep their equipment running at peak performance. As a Customer Service Representative you will be the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, part identification, quoting, order entry, and issue resolution. Your expertise will help customers navigate complex catalogs, reduce downtime, and reinforce careerzynith’s reputation for exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat, meeting or exceeding established service‑level targets. Deliver clear, concise, and accurate information that builds trust and confidence.
  • Part Identification: Use technical manuals, parts catalogs, and product drawings to help customers pinpoint the exact components they need. Translate technical jargon into plain language that anyone can understand.
  • Quoting & Order Management: Generate precise quotes, enter orders into the careerzynith ERP system, and track order status from inception to delivery. Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Record Management: Keep CRM records current and organized. Log every interaction, update case notes, and maintain a searchable history that supports future service excellence.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Materials, Shipping, Pricing, and Sales teams to coordinate order fulfillment, resolve discrepancies, and accelerate problem‑solving.
  • Process Improvement: Apply Lean thinking to identify bottlenecks, suggest workflow enhancements, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, first‑contact resolution, and customer satisfaction scores. Propose actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Personal Development: Pursue ongoing training, certifications, and skill‑building opportunities to stay current with industry trends and internal systems.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or certifications in automotive, machinery, or related fields is a strong plus.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or a related discipline, OR a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment—balancing on‑site collaboration in Bothell, WA with remote productivity.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the capacity to read and interpret parts catalogs, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and chat platforms; ability to simplify complex technical information.
  • Polished interpersonal style that quickly captures essential details, explains next steps, and instills confidence in customers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining accuracy and composure.
  • Curiosity, creative problem‑solving, and a proactive mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process‑improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Adaptability and rapid learning of new software platforms and procedures.
