What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting student and patient interactions across various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Assisting with admissions, enrollment, registration, and financial aid processes
  • Providing general information on academic procedures and processes
  • Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating referrals
  • Ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One (1) year of customer service experience
  • Proficient in English language and basic computer skills
  • Strong problem-solving and active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

If you have:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in higher education, student services, or healthcare
  • Knowledge of Banner, Recruit, and/or Avaya systems
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
