Position Overview

The Platform Distribution Operations Coordinator at careerzynith plays a pivotal role in supporting product strategy, product execution, project management, monetization support, content delivery execution, live event coordination, and sales enablement for direct-to-consumer products, SVOD/AVOD offerings, partnership arrangements, and content and transactional sales across our global distribution network. This position supports the rollout and continued growth of our streaming platforms and digital services, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams and external partners.

The Coordinator will focus on designing and executing business processes that enable efficient management and operation of all media distribution, including theatrical releases, linear networks, SVOD/AVOD platforms, FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) channels, audio services, transactional sales, airline distribution, news aggregators, partnerships, and direct-to-consumer products. This role provides critical pre-sale and post-sale support, partner management, and ongoing operational excellence that drives the success of our distribution initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project & Initiative Management

  • Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional technology and operations teams to project-manage multiple operational initiatives simultaneously, including developing project timelines, communicating schedules, identifying key milestones, preparing announcements, and maintaining consistent data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the launch of new distribution partners and the rollout of new content to existing partners to drive distribution growth and revenue expansion.
  • Partner closely with internal colleagues to fulfill contractual obligations related to the technical aspects of content delivery, data management, measurement, and advertising with distribution partners.
  • Support distribution outreach teams during deal negotiations by providing subject matter expertise related to distribution, advertising, data, and measurement.

Content Delivery & Platform Support

  • Manage and support the end-to-end process for content delivery across linear networks, FAST channels, audio services, and VOD content across set-top-box, mobile, PC, and other digital platforms, including SVOD, AVOD, PVOD, electronic home video, and airline distribution.
  • Assist with Rights Management-related tasks and initiatives, including confirming distribution and music rights for various first-party and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate with teams across sales, finance, analytics, and other departments to support monetization efforts, including forecasting and revenue analysis, and to inform technology roadmaps.

Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders across careerzynith in sales, operations, production, digital media, legal, and accounting, as well as externally with distributors, partners, vendors, and technology engineers to support self-learning, enhance work capabilities, and advance the goals of Platform Distribution.
  • Support contract negotiations with vendors to secure services and monetization capabilities.
  • Curate business-specific information on B2B proprietary websites and perform system administrator duties as needed.

Operational Excellence & Documentation

  • Coordinate the initial setup and renewal review processes.
  • Identify and review contractual language for key analyses.
  • Maintain and coordinate documentation, including project trackers, reporting support, delivery specifications, data management, standard documents, and contractual language archives.
  • Assist the team in the development of presentations, training materials, and comprehensive reports.
  • Summarize distribution sales meetings and provide key advertising and data references to the broader team.

Data, Systems & Live Event Coordination

  • Receive and review reporting from partner data feeds or internal measurement reports.
  • Perform system-level maintenance on distributor databases, including internal platforms such as AIS, Business Intelligence tools, Syndi, WordPress, and Cerebro.
  • Coordinate live event logistics, including managing blackouts, microphone validation, and metadata validation processes.
  • Verify contractual compliance across measurement, advertising, usage guidelines, authentication, and content delivery.
  • Conduct digital advertising reviews by platform.
  • Contribute to a team environment that is open, inclusive, and encourages authenticity, communication, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, writing, relationship-building, collaboration, negotiation, customer service, and computer skills, with strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Project Management Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage and appropriately prioritize multiple short-term projects while simultaneously building a strong foundation for achieving medium- and long-term objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a deep sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Autonomy: Ability to own assignments from inception through completion with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to non-standard work hours depending on business needs.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Prior experience in media distribution, entertainment operations, digital content delivery, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms, SVOD/AVOD business models, and emerging digital distribution trends.
  • Understanding of rights management, contractual language review, and partner negotiations.
  • Experience working with B2B partner portals, content management systems, and database tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Compensation & Benefits

careerzynith is committed to offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the value of the work performed and the experience brought to the role. The hiring range for this position is $56,000 to $73,700 annually, depending on geographic location, relevant work experience, skills, and other factors. The base salary offered will also consider internal equity. In addition to base compensation, a bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the overall pay package, along with a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, subject to the level and nature of the position offered.
