Job Description
As an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for entering customer and staff data into computer databases under direct supervision. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents using online computer terminals or personal computers
- Keying and verifying results according to procedures provided
- Recognizing and correcting errors in original data prior to processing
- Recognizing deficiencies in source documents and returning them to the originator for correction
- Maintaining customer and staff databases
- Performing clerical duties for the office administrator
- Maintaining computerized departmental records
- Maintaining confidentiality
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
- Some data entry experience
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills
- Ability to use personal computers and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing
- Ability to meet established deadlines
