Position Overview
Role: Remote Seasonal Customer Service Representative, Donor Contact Services Duration: October 21st through December 31st Location: Remote from registered U.S. States within the Pacific Time Zone Compensation: $16.56 - $23.06 per hour, with typical hiring range of $19 - $21 per hour based on experience, skills, and work location. Please note this is a seasonal position with no associated benefits. Schedule: Initial paid training runs approximately October 21st through November 8th, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. Following training, you will be assigned an 8-hour shift within our Call Center operating hours of 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Schedules are determined through a shift-bid process where seniority influences selection order.
Key Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you will serve as the critical link between our organization and the generous donors who support our mission. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Donor Engagement: Answer inbound calls and conduct occasional outbound calls to current and prospective donors in response to media presentations, campaigns, and careerzynith products and services. You will recognize and act on opportunities to enhance donor support through thoughtful up-selling and cross-selling of complementary programs.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive donor relationships through excellent customer service, active listening, and empathetic communication. You will assess caller needs accurately and input information efficiently using data entry and ten-key skills.
- Mission Communication: Effectively communicate careerzynith's involvement in global ministries and projects, including disaster relief, education, health initiatives, clean water programs, and our renowned Gift Catalog featuring more than 100 meaningful ways to honor loved ones through charitable giving.
- Spiritual Support: Incorporate faith into your professional role by keeping Christ central in your work, participating in spiritual disciplines, and praying with donors when appropriate and welcomed.
- Performance Excellence: Achieve and maintain individual performance statistics that align with Call Center business goals while maintaining accuracy, quality, and professionalism in every interaction.
- Research and Problem-Solving: Conduct thorough research using various resource materials to effectively respond to donor inquiries and resolve concerns.
- Technology Utilization: Learn and apply various technology platforms to maintain and update donor information accurately, including Microsoft 365 products such as Outlook, Word, and Teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Educational Background: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required, along with basic routine work experience.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of one year of previous customer service, sales, or call center experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Required minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute, with strong data entry capabilities.
- Reliable Infrastructure: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection with an average minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and average upload speed of 6 Mbps.
