Pocket Triage (Volunteer Opportunity) Pocket Triage is an offline-first mobile application being developed by a volunteer team to provide basic first-aid guidance and mental wellness support in areas where internet access, medical resources, or emergency services may be limited. We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer / Medical Illustration Volunteer to help create clear, easy-to-understand visual guides for first-aid procedures and emergency response scenarios. What You'll Work On:

  • Designing instructional illustrations for first-aid procedures
  • Creating visual assets for emergency medical guidance
  • Developing a consistent illustration style across the application
  • Collaborating with developers, UX/UI designers, and clinical reviewers
  • Helping improve accessibility and visual clarity for users in high-stress situations
  • Creating icons, graphics, and educational materials for the app

Preferred Skills:

  • Graphic Design
  • Medical Illustration (not required but highly valued)
  • Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, Affinity Designer, or similar tools
  • Understanding of visual storytelling and instructional design
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear visuals
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have:

  • Experience designing educational materials
  • Healthcare, first-aid, or public health interest
  • Experience creating vector illustrations
  • UX/UI design experience
