Manager- Governence
Role: Manager Duration: 12 months - convert to hire Experience: 5+ years Travel up to 50-75% Role Description: The player-coach. Runs governance AND does hands-on savings work. Must be a generalist who can pivot across all categories
- Run Steering Committees and executive governance meetings (like a Director, but at a smaller scale)
- Set savings targets, manage budget, track engagement performance
- ALSO actively lead sourcing work — RFPs, negotiations, product evaluations
- Cover clinical AND non-clinical categories as needed (med/surg, purchased services, facilities, lab)
- Manage a small team (1-2 direct reports)
Required Skills:
- 5+ years healthcare supply chain or consulting
- 3+ years with governance experience (steering committees, executive reporting)
- Generalist orientation — can work across clinical and non-clinical categories
- RFP/negotiation experience
- Strong project management skills — this person juggles governance + delivery
