[Remote] Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sixth City Marketing is looking for a digitally savvy Account Manager to manage day-to-day client accounts. The role involves understanding client needs, developing marketing strategies, and executing deliverables to help clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist multiple clients as their day-to-day point of contact
- Develop and refine a keen understanding of client needs, related to their industry, branding, and competitive positioning; recognize the strategic and tactical goals of each client
- Work closely with clients to address scope challenges and issues facing accounts
- Understand key internet marketing channels (search engine optimization, social media, and pay-per-click marketing)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and HubSpot a plus; training provided
- Remain up-to-date with interactive trends
- Strategize the development of new and existing accounts, helping to direct in-market tactics and produce client- and internal-facing deliverables
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and long-term success of clients
- Translate client needs to agency needs; produce documentation for use by internal team members
- Assist in prioritizing tasks and ensure team members are briefed on account context
- Support quality assurance for work presented to clients, holding to standards of the highest quality
- Retain clients and foster a healthy working relationship with client representatives
- Engage with day-to-day client contacts along with senior client personnel to discuss the strategic goals of accounts, and ongoing and future projects
- Write and edit accurate, concise, and highly promotional page content for clients. Content can be for the following channels: website content, blog posts and social media
- Update website content and meta data via a variety of content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify and Drupal (training provided)
