[Remote] Content Strategist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rockit Ranch Productions is looking for a Content Strategist to enhance their content strategy and elevate the CEO/Founder as a thought leader. The role involves developing a comprehensive content calendar, coordinating content distribution, and tracking performance across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar
- Coordinate content publishing schedules and ensure content is distributed across all appropriate platforms
- Identify content opportunities that support business objectives, brand awareness, and audience growth
- Create monthly and quarterly content themes, campaigns, and storytelling pillars
- Monitor industry trends, social media trends, and emerging content formats
- Develop content strategies that elevate the CEO/Founder as a thought leader, entrepreneur, restaurateur, filmmaker, and community leader
- Identify opportunities for founder-focused content, including behind-the-scenes moments, leadership insights, travel, media appearances, speaking engagements, and lifestyle content
- Support content ideas for CEO/Founder’s businesses and creative projects
- Create detailed shot lists and content briefs for the videographer/editor
- Develop concepts for reels, YouTube content, short-form videos, interviews, podcasts, and social campaigns
- Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, PR, and operations teams to identify content opportunities
- Ensure content is captured proactively during events, openings, travel, media appearances, and day-to-day operations
- Track content performance and audience growth across all channels
- Identify what's working, what's not, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Provide monthly reporting and actionable recommendations
- Responsible for setting content goals around KPIs like growth, engagement, reach, and views
- Maintain an organized content library and production workflow
- Track content from ideation through filming, editing, approval, and publication
- Ensure content is being repurposed effectively across platforms
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in content strategy, social media strategy, digital marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Excellent storytelling and creative thinking skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience building personal brands, founder brands, or executive thought leadership is highly preferred
- Hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, or media experience is a plus
