[Remote] Director of Marketing

FOUND is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing to lead growth for an established consumer brand at the intersection of wellness, lifestyle, media, and education. The role involves owning brand marketing, customer acquisition, digital growth, content strategy, partnerships, and audience development, while collaborating with senior leadership to enhance market presence and accelerate revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, content, email, partnerships, PR, and paid media channels
- Lead customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
- Own brand positioning and ensure consistency across all customer-facing touchpoints
- Oversee content strategy, campaign planning, and editorial calendars
- Drive growth across e-commerce, subscription, membership, media, event, and educational offerings
- Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Build and manage influencer, affiliate, agency, and strategic partnership programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, creative, operations, and product teams to launch new initiatives
- Own marketing budgets, forecasting, reporting, and ROI measurement
- Recruit, mentor, and manage internal team members and external partners
- Implement AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and marketing performance
- Identify new audience segments and growth channels while maintaining brand integrity and customer trust
Skills
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Proven success scaling consumer-facing, direct-to-consumer, media, lifestyle, wellness, or education-focused brands
- Strong expertise in growth marketing, brand strategy, digital marketing, and content development
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with measurable business impact
- Deep understanding of social media, email marketing, SEO, paid acquisition, influencer marketing, and community engagement
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership abilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with founder-led, mission-driven, or consumer brands
- Background in wellness, lifestyle, beauty, health, media, publishing, education, or consumer products
- Experience growing recurring revenue businesses, memberships, subscriptions, or digital products
- Familiarity with modern marketing technology stacks and AI-enabled marketing tools
