[Remote] Education Law Associate Attorney

They are seeking an Education Law Associate Attorney with experience in advising public and private K-12 schools and related agencies on various legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel to public and private K-12 schools, community college districts, and related agencies
• Advise school districts on labor and employment issues
• Conduct investigations related to personnel management and discipline
• Assist with facilities and contracts matters
• Handle Public Records Act requests and issues related to the Brown Act

Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-law school experience in education law
• Experience advising school districts on a range of issues, including labor and employment, conducting investigations, personnel management and discipline, facilities, contracts, Public Records Act requests, and the Brown Act
