[Remote] Engineer II

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oceaneering is a company with over 30 years of experience in providing full-service submarine and surface ship repairs. They are seeking an Engineer II to perform moderately difficult engineering tasks and demonstrate good technical judgment while coordinating the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately difficult engineering tasks to completion that may include a variety of design features, conflicting design requirements, unusual materials requirements, and the need to coordinate the work of others
• Exhibit good technical judgment, and appreciable independent evaluation, creativity, and latitude in making decisions
• Demonstrate ability to devise innovative solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ocean or Nuclear) or Naval Architecture from accredited college or university
• Minimum two (2) years engineering experience in complex systems design, manufacturing, and integration environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
