[Remote] Implementation Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as an Implementation Engineer. This role requires a highly analytical individual with a strong background in IT systems and infrastructure, focusing on ensuring compatibility with existing IT infrastructure and systems, as well as providing detailed documentation and support during the implementation phase.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructure and systems
- Perform rigorous testing of systems for stability, efficiency, and security
- Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation phase
- Coordinate with project managers and team members for timely project delivery
- Evaluate post-implementation system performance and provide ongoing support
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field or equivalent technical training
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role with a focus on Data Center, Cisco Nexus Platform switches, and Arista
- Experience with Arista CVP and BGP
- Automation experience, particularly with Ansible
- Strong analytical skills and Python knowledge is a plus
- Unix or Linux background is advantageous
- CCIE certification preferred
- Experience in financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking) is a plus
- Ability to work weekends as needed for migration work
- Strong leadership and self-direction skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage risk and make sound decisions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a high-paced environment
- Strong technical acumen and ability to partner with others
- Experience with Python scripting
- Understanding of Juniper Data Center and Juniper Routing and Switching
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
