The role involves designing rebalancing programs, implementing QoS policies, and optimizing the Supplier environment for storage management.

Responsibilities

  • Design a rebalancing program to identify specific tenants and plan migrations of those tenants across the new clusters and arrays for best utilization of our storage environment
  • Design QoS policies for deployment across the Supplier environment
  • Setup reporting for performance and traffic engineering of the Supplier environment
  • Execute MOPs to grow and optimize the Supplier environment based on the scope details above
  • Deploy new Supplier storage arrays into switched clusters allowing for separation of OpenStack and OpenShift
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and Trident
