As part of a dynamic virtual team of healthcare professionals, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) to collectively enhance patient engagement and outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Baseline Visits for health plan members via telemedicine, utilizing a patient-centered approach (70-90% of your role). This includes assessing patient history, discussing health concerns, and providing tailored medical recommendations based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Supervise and collaborate with a team of Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), fostering a positive and efficient work environment (10-30% of your role). You will guide APPs in clinical decision-making and support their professional development by providing medical oversight and mentorship.
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and enhance workplace practices that promote team cohesion and a culture of excellence.
• Responsible for securing and maintaining necessary multi-state medical licenses, enabling you to practice telemedicine across various jurisdictions as dictated by patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a Telemedicine Physician at Curative Health, you will engage primarily with adult patients enrolled in the Curative Health Plan. The focus will be on delivering preventative care that encourages early intervention and active participation in personal health management, ensuring our members leverage their unique health plan benefits effectively.

Qualifications

• A deep passion for preventative medicine and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Experience and familiarity with telemedicine practices and technologies.
• A Doctoral degree from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
• An active and unencumbered medical license in Texas, with the potential to obtain additional multi-state licenses as warranted.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and team members alike.
• A servant-leadership mindset, fostering collaboration and support within the team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in both in-person and virtual primary care settings, enhancing your ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
• A strong background in primary care with experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency training.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, specifically APPs.
• Possession of medical licenses in multiple states is advantageous, allowing you to reach a broader client base.
