[Remote] Territory Sales Manager-New York area
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MEDCO is a leading U.S. distributor of PBE supply and mechanical tools & equipment, serving both traditional wholesalers and mobile tool dealers. The Territory Sales Manager will focus on managing and growing sales within the assigned territory by building customer relationships, conducting sales calls, and providing product training.
Responsibilities
- Managing and growing sales within the assigned territory by visiting existing customers and prospecting new accounts
- Promoting MEDCO’s product lines and building long-term customer relationships
- Understanding client needs and presenting appropriate product and service solutions
- Conducting sales calls and in-person meetings, preparing quotes, and negotiating pricing within guidelines
- Tracking opportunities through the sales pipeline and reporting on territory performance
- Providing product training and demonstrations, collaborating with internal teams on inventory and order fulfillment
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to inform territory strategies
- Traveling within the New York area and participating in trade shows or customer events

- Strong Sales skills, including prospecting, territory management, and closing new business
- Excellent Communication skills for presenting, negotiating, and building relationships with diverse customer stakeholders
- Customer Service orientation with a focus on responsiveness, follow-up, and long-term account support
- Sales Management and Training abilities to manage a sales pipeline, forecast results, and provide product or process training to customers and partners
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and travel regularly within the New York territory
- Proficiency with CRM systems, basic data analysis, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, email platforms)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for regular customer visits and regional travel
- Experience in tools, equipment, automotive, industrial, or related distribution industries
